Jeff Shepard is a seasoned financial professional with a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification to help fully serve Eastgate’s clients. He provides clients the guidance to enable them to live the lives they envision.
Jeff serves as a wealth advisor at Eastgate Capital Advisors LLC. He is an accomplished financial professional with decades of experience in portfolio management, fixed income sales and real estate investments. Previously, Jeff served in Institutional Sales with William Blair & Co LLC; was a Partner with LaSalle Jackson LLC and Fixed Income Associates LLC; a portfolio manager with Segall Bryant & Hamill and was a SVP and Director of the Insurance Asset Management Group of Columbia Asset Management where he managed $4.4 billion.
Jeff earned his Masters degree in Economics from The University of Chicago, and graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Economics. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
Jeff enjoys bike racing. He has served as a coach for the grade school robotics team with Breakthrough Ministries in West Garfield Park and is occasionally on stage at Second City. Jeff lives in Chicago with his wife, with whom he has three adult children.
